Assam Seeds Corporation Ltd. has 12 nos. of Farms in various Districts all over the state. The farms under Assam Seeds Corporation Ltd. has been producing foundation and certified seeds since its inception. The Breeder seeds are allotted by GOI and GOA for production of foundation and certified seeds. The produced seeds are distributed under different schemes as per direction of the Govt. of Assam and Govt. of india. Mainly the following seeds are produced: paddy,mustard, maize, Jute,pulses, oil seeds. Besides the above crops the Farms have been producing different crops also as desired by Government of India and Government of Assam also.
